Mohamed Elsayed
Hello! My name is Mohamed. I'm an EE student at UofT and I'm interested in a variety of fields in Quantum Physics and use my software and AI/ML skills to build research tools, simulations, and systems you can see, test, and benefit from.

Now
I'm currently a research assistant at Ain Shams University, working with Professors Mostafa El-Aasser and Nasr Gad on quantum dot enhanced photovoltaic devices. My work mainly consists of running optical simulations in Lumerical and Python to compare material parameters, device geometries, and design tradeoffs. Alongside that, I'm currently independently researching different aspects of Quantum Error Correction, specifically GKP codes. I've reached out to a variety of different researchers, you may see my work here.

In my lifetime, I want to...
- Make actual contributions towards making quantum hardware accessible to all
- Help with the AI scale problem, I want large trillion parameter models to be easily runnable locally
- Build tools that make experimental physics faster and less manual for other researchers
- Contribute to a complete overhaul of the education system
- Continuously give back to communities who help people strive
- Write a history book
- Make something teleport
